Oshmo Billet Battery Tray Airhead R75 R80 R90 R100 fits on top of the transmission deleting the original air box. This a great naked bike item.

By deleting the airbox and using air filter pods, you can open up the space taken by the factory battery mount. Battery cables can now be routed directly to the starter eliminating unsightly cables running along the frame.

The battery tray is cut and finned out of 6061 aluminum billet. The hold down is also machined from billet.

Battery tray is designed to fit a 12 cell AG 1201 Anti Gravity 360 CCA battery. See more info on TAB.

The Oshmo BMW R75 steering  damper knob is here for the taking. As requested by clients preparing custom builds, we machined, knurled and prepared them just for you.

The stem is made form 318 stainless steel rod, tapered and threaded to 8m thread spec. and sized to original length, so it will go directly onto your bike. It works with the stock top clamp and our popular stainless HD Top clamp.

The grip is cnc machined  and knurled from 6061 t6 billet aluminum . Available in both polished aluminum and black hard anodized.

Please note, on /5 models using the stock headlight ears you will have to trim the top of your headlight ears approx. 10mm due to the extra thickness of this clamp. . Here is a stainless steel top clamp for your 1970’s BMW R series Motorcycle. Handsomely machined from T304 Stainless Steel plate. The clamp is thicker than stock for added rigidity. The under side has a slight (1.5mm) counter bore that captures the top of the fork tubes. This design is the answer to the thin steel plate that many complain about. The stock look makes it a perfect upgrade for the rider that wants to keep the original look. No modifications are necessary to your headlight ears. BMW Triple Clamp Center Steering Nut

The Brushed Stainless Steel Triple Clamp Top Center Steering Nut is made from 318 Stainless Billet. Manufactured in-house on our Hardinge T42 Machine center.

Fits 1970-1980 BMW motorcycles.

Please specify if you want the steering dampener hole in the center of the nut.
We will ship without the center hole unless you specify otherwise.

We offer this item in a machine finish or polished.

The price is the same for either as polishing is also done in-house.

Again, please specify if you will be using your steering dampener for the through hole to be prepared. ( add $5.00 ) 
If you plan on retaining the stock BMW steering dampener, you will need the center hole drilled.
If you are making that cleaned up cafe racer or bobber without the steering dampener, we recommend no center hole.

There are various flywheels available throughout the 1970s
Early 70’s bikes come with a 93 tooth wheel and 10 mm mounting holes. 9/75 and later engines take a flywheel with 111 teeth and 11mm mounting holes. If your not sure measure the mounting holes or teeth, contact us for assistance

The design is based on a twisted spoke geometry. The inboard spoke is wider than the outboard spoke and twisted in the direction of rotation for ridged service.

The final weight is about 5.5 – 6 lbs depending on the model of flywheel.

If you have a different era flywheel you need lightened, contact us with details and we will be happy to give it a try.
